To provide a manufacturing method of an information display panel capable of disposing a desired quantity of display medium in each cell.
In the information display panel, at least one kind of display medium constituted of at least one kind of particles and having optical reflectance and a charge property is encapsulated in the cells formed by partitions between two substrates at least one of which is transparent and which are opposed to each other and information such as an image is displayed by applying an electric field to the display medium to move the display medium. In the manufacturing method of the information display panel, a display medium packing step for packing the display medium on the substrate includes a charged display medium carrying step for carrying the charged display medium, a display medium arranging step for arranging the carried display medium based on a static latent image and a display medium transferring and disposing step for transferring and packing the arranged display medium on the substrate and the display medium transferring and disposing step is so constituted that a photoreceptor drum comes into contact with partitions for securing a substrate gap or the partitions for forming the cells on the substrate, either one of the photoreceptor drum and the substrate is actively driven and the other is passively driven to pack the display medium in the cells formed by the partitions on the substrate.
