Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of a Fe-Ni based alloy thin sheet for shadow mask with an excellent etching performance.

The manufacturing method of the Fe-Ni based alloy thin sheet for shadow mask with the excellent etching performance is characterized in that the manufacture of the Fe-Ni based alloy thin sheet for shadow mask requires that a reduction ratio r at the final cold rolling step be 15-40 % and a ten point average roughness Rz of a surface of reduction roll be 4.0-10 μm, and further the reduction ratio r and the ten point average roughness Rz to be controlled to the range defined by the equation (1). 120≤r(%)×Rz(μm)≤280 (1).
