Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing lithium 12-hydroxystearate less in contamination of contaminants deteriorating silence of a grease.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of lithium 12-hydroxystearate is a manufacturing method of lithium 12-hydroxystearate obtained by reacting 12-hydroxystearic acid and excessive amount of lithium hydroxide monohydrate and lithium 12-hydroxystearate as a reaction product is applied to a washing treatment by a solution containing water. In the washing treatment, it is preferable to mix the lithium 12-hydroxystearate and the solution containing water at a ratio of 50:50 to 10:90 for washing. Also the solution containing water is preferably contains a surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: None
