Abstract:
To provide a processing method that enables stable expression of the hygroscopic and exothermic functions of texture including a cellulose fiber processed to have hygroscopicity and exothermicity.SOLUTION: The present disclosure provides a method for producing texture including a cellulose fiber processed to have hygroscopicity and exothermicity. The hygroscopic and exothermic process is a process to graft-bind a cellulose fiber with a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, and cause a carboxylic acid group or an Na salt thereof to be present on the fiber surface, to impart hygroscopicity and exothermicity, which is followed by acid treatment at a pH of 5 or less, water washing, alkali treatment at a pH of 7.5 or more, water washing, and drying.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
