Abstract:

To provide a method for manufacturing a non-oriented silicon steel sheet which is used for an iron core of a rotary machine, is small in the anisotropy of the magnetic characteristic in the whole circumference and tis excellent in workability.

In the method for manufacturing the non-oriented silicon steel sheet, a steel blank composed, by mass%, of 0.0005-0.010% C, 0.05-1.5% Mn, 0.8-4.0% Si, 0.1-4.0% Al and satisfying the relation of Si+2Al-Mn≥2 and the balance Fe with inevitable impurity elements, is hot-rolled, and the obtained hot-rolled plate is annealed, successively is cold-rolled, then is recrystallizing-annealed, and further is finish-annealed after skin-pass rolling. In the method, the hot-rolled plate annealing temperature Th°C is defined as 1,000≤Th≤1,150, and the cold-rolling ratio CR% is defined as 85≤CR≤93.
