PURPOSE: To improve productivity by moulding the disk substrate so as to be in a single body with the hub, executing the reading by an optical means to the surface where the pre-group or the pre-pitting die of the disk substrate is formed, vapor depositing the writable recording film and forming the recording layer.
CONSTITUTION: A hub 5 having a spindle inserting hole 4 is molded, in a die 7, arranged so that a spindle inserting hole 4 can come to the center, the transparent synthetic resin is poured, hardened and removed in the melting condition and a disk 8 is obtained. On a stamper 9 to form the unevenness at the surface, an ultraviolet hardening resin 10 having the fluidity is dripped, and the disk 8 is compressed on the resin 10 in a little curved condition. Thereafter, when the ultraviolet ray is irradiated from the upper direction of the disk 8, the ultraviolet hardening resin 10 is hardened, and the disk 8 is separated from the stamper 9, a replica layer 2a is formed on the surface of a disk substrate 1, a reflecting film 2a is vapor deposited and at the disk 8, a recording layer 2 is formed. Such two disks 8 are arranged so that the recording layers 2 can be mutually opposite, and stuck with the adhesives, etc. Thus, the optical disk can be very easily manufactured.
