Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of an organic electroluminescent element, using a composition for the organic electroluminescent element which satisfies at least either of the condition that solubility of a positive hole injection and transport material is improved, and affinity to an undercoat layer is improved, and the condition that it has an appropriate drying rate for forming a homogeneous coating layer, as a coating liquid to be used when a positive hole injection layer and a positive hole transport layer of the organic electroluminescent element are formed by a wet film forming method.

In the manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent element in which at least a positive electrode, the positive hole injection layer, the positive hole transport layer, a light emitting layer, and a negative electrode are laminated, at least one layer of the positive hole injection layer and the positive hole transport layer is formed by using the positive hole injection and transport material and/or an electron accepting compound, and the composition for the organic electroluminescent element containing an ether based solvent and/or an ester based solvent, and by the wet film-forming method in the atmosphere.
