Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a decomposer capable of effectively decomposing organic halogen compounds to contribute to purification of soil and underground water contaminated with organic halogen compounds. SOLUTION: The organic halogen compound decomposer having powder form comprises particles including iron as a main component, wherein the iron is porous with through-holes in the particle and copper is distributed partially on a surface layer portion of the particle, both of the iron and copper appearing on the surface of the particle.
