Abstract:

To provide an original plate of a lithographic printing plate of which the hydrophilic layer has a high hydrophilicity and which is improved in plate wear resistance and printing stainability and enables attainment of a stain-free printed matter even under severe printing conditions.

A thermosensitive layer containing an infrared absorber and a compound having a nucleophilic reaction active group is formed on a substrate and a hydrophilic polymer having the nucleophilic reaction active group in the terminal is made to act on the thermosensitive layer, in this manufacturing method of the original plate of the lithographic printing plate. The original plate of the lithographic printing plate obtained by this method and a lithographic printing method using the original plate are provided.
