A water soluble mask layer 2 is partially applied to the surface of a substrate sheet 1 using water soluble ink and the metal thin film 3 is formed on the whole surface of the substrate sheet 1 while a finely punched pattern layer 5 is wholly or partially formed on the metal thin film 3 using the water soluble ink and the coated substrate sheet 1 thus obtained is washed with water to dissolve and remove the water soluble mask layer 2 not only remove the metal thin film 3 and the finely punched pattern layer 5 on the water soluble mask layer 2 but also to leave the metal thin film 3 and the finely punched pattern layer 5 at the parts where no water soluble mask layer 2 is present of the substrate sheet 1.
