Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a porous aluminum material, capable of efficiently producing a porous aluminum material by a simple operation without requiring a complex operation of low energy efficiency such as sintering.SOLUTION: The method of producing an aluminum material of a porous structure, is characterized by electrodepositing aluminum in the presence of particles of a water-soluble substance insoluble to an organic solvent and in the presence of the organic solvent, and subsequently allowing water to dissolve the particles of the water-soluble substance contained in the electrodeposit obtained by electrodepositing aluminum, to remove the particle of the water-soluble substance from the electrodeposit.
