Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of power storage element in which electrolyte is hard to jet from a liquid injection hole, even if charging is performed while releasing the liquid injection hole, and to provide a case of the power storage element.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of power storage element includes to receive an electrode body 2 in a case 3 including a case body 31 having an opening, and a lid 32 closing the opening and having a lid body 33 provided with a liquid injection hole 34, and to attach an external terminal to the lid body so as to conduct with the electrode body, to inject electrolyte from the liquid injection hole of the case in the state of receiving the electrode body, and to charge from the external terminal after injecting electrolyte. In the inner face 330 of the lid body directing the inside of the case, a convex region 332A that is a part of the inner face including the liquid injection hole peripheral part 335 and the part where the external terminal is attached projects farther outside of the case than a virtual surface Vs including the region 331A adjoining the case body, to define convex spaces 301 located on the farther outside than the virtual surface in the case, and all convex spaces are interconnected on the farther outside than the virtual surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
