Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method for a printing plate suitable for lithographic printing.
An aquerous solution of a polymer having a water-solubilizing group or an aqueous colloid dispersion is applied to a support to ink jet print a lipophilic image on the surface of the support. At the time, the water-solubilizing group interacts with the surface of the support, jointing the polymer to the support to make the polymer insoluble. The aquerous solution of the polymer or the aqueous colloid dispersion contains pigment particles dispersed therein.
