Abstract:

To provide a method of regenerating an aggregate with a reduced amount of cement adhered by using simple equipment and low energy.

The method comprises dry-crushing concrete lumps 1 by a multi-stage system employing dry crushers 2-1 and 2-2 to such sizes as to pass completely through a sieve of an opening of 4.75 mm in order to obtain a coarsely crushed product, removing a part of particles, 7' and 7, on the side of fine particles in the particle size distribution from crushed products, or an intermediate crushed product 5' and the coarsely crushed product 5, obtained by crushing in individual stages, wet-crushing the coarsely crushed product 5 with a ball mill 3 and removing fine powder 8 contained in the wet-crushed product obtained by the wet-crushing through a wet classifying apparatus 4 to obtain a highly purified regenerated fine aggregate 6.
