Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a refined hydrophobic modified cellulose fiber having excellent dispersibility with reducing cost and simplifying processes.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a refined hydrophobic modified cellulose fiber, including a process for a refining treatment, in an organic solvent, of a hydrophobic modified cellulose fiber having average fiber diameter of 1 to 300 μm, manufactured by binding a compound having a modification group to an anionic group of an anionic modified cellulose fiber, in which the organic solvent contains one or more kind of organic solvent selected from a group consisting of N,N-dimethylformamide or the like, the compound having the modification group is one or more kind selected from a group consisting of primary amine or the like, and total mass of the modification group in the hydrophobic modified cellulose fiber is 1 to 200 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the cellulose fiber amount.SELECTED DRAWING: None
