Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory having stable durability using a decomposition dust of used refractory.SOLUTION: When a refractory manufactured using a refractory raw material without blending CaO, using decomposition dust of used refractory as at least a part of the refractory raw material, the refractory is manufactured with controlling slag contamination amount as an index of CaO content of the refractory because slag contaminated in the decomposition dust reduces durability of the manufactured refractory. namely, CaO content is measured for the decomposition dust aobtained by conducting separation decomposition for removing adhered debris and unnecessary material part, a decomposition dust a with CaO content so that CaO content of the manufactured refractory is 2.5 mass% or less is selected from the decomposition dust abased on CaO content and blend ratio of the decomposition dust a in the refractory raw material, and the decomposition layer a is used as the refractory raw material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
