To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a reinforcing fiber woven fabric, hardly causing unevenness of the fabric or meandering of weft yarns caused by difference in length of warp yarns when weaving the reinforcing fiber woven fabric.
The method for producing the reinforcing fiber woven fabric having reinforcing fibers as the warp yarns 2 has the following steps (A) to (E): (A) a positioning step of the reinforcing fiber bundles for positioning a plurality of the reinforcing fiber bundles as the warp yarns of the textile 12 so as to be substantially positioned at the same intervals in the width direction; (B) a yarn thickness-regulating step of the reinforcing fiber bundles for paralleling the reinforcing fiber bundles in parallel while uniformizing the yarn thicknesses of the reinforcing fiber bundles; (C) a sending-out step of the reinforcing fiber bundles for sending out the reinforcing fiber bundles as a sheet-shaped warp yarn sheet to a weaving part; (D) a tension-regulating step of the reinforcing fiber bundles for reducing the tension change caused by an opening and closing part of a heald frame 8 by an easing mechanism wherein a contact roller moves parallelly with a roller shaft; and (E) a weaving step for weaving the textile by opening the yarn sheet composed of the reinforcing fiber bundles and inserting the weft yarns 10 to the shed.
