Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method for road cone bodies in which a rational method other than hole drilling is used and wind pressure can be reduced.SOLUTION: A core-sheath type composite filament is prepared whose core component is polyethylene terephthalate and whose sheath component is copolyester or polyolefin having a lower melting point than the melting point of polyethylene terephthalate. Multifilament yarn is obtained by bundling the plurality of core-sheath type composite filaments. The multifilament yarn is applied to a knitting machine to knit extensible tubular fabric. The extensible tubular fabric is laid over the surface of the truncated cone mold. At this time, appropriately extending it forms watermarks. Then, heat and pressure are applied to melt the sheath component of the core-sheath type composite filament in the multifilament yarn. Thereafter, by cooling, the core-sheath type composite filaments are fused and integrated to obtain a road cone body with watermarks.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
