PURPOSE: To manufacture a sharp saw in a very simple manner, by welding or bonding such a hard material as having a quality of different from that of a saw body and being harder that the saw body's, to a part to form sawteeth of the saw body before these sawteeth are formed, and afterward, making these sawteeth so as to be formed.
CONSTITUTION: A saw body 1' being equal in an external form to an actual saw body is cut out of a large-sized steel plate, then such a hard material 3 as having a quality different from that of the saw body and being harder than the saw body's is welded to a part 2' where saw teeth should be formed. As for the material 3, cemented carbide, high-speed steel or the like including ceramic, tungsten carbide, etc., may be enumerated and thereby each of these materials is selectable at will according to a work in type. After welding of this material 8, a lot of sawteeth 4 are formed, then tooth-setting takes place with a diamond wheel being rotated at high speed. With this constitution, a lot of sawteeth 2 are formed in a specified position of the saw body and, what is more, each of sawteeth 2 comes to being harder than the saw body.
