Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a self-sealing pneumatic tire capable of promoting preferable bonding to an inner liner while largely shortening the time required to sufficiently clean a surface, and a self-sealing pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a self-sealing pneumatic tire and a self-sealing pneumatic tire enable a purified region of a stripe 14 of a continuous non-linear path to be formed by repeating the step of continuously directing laser radiation pulses to the surface of an inner liner 10 of a pneumatic tire, to make a continuous bead of a sealant at least partially cover the stripe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
