In the manufacturing method of the sliced veneer whose cut end face is exposed on the surface, wood blocks in which the regular grain face or the flat grain face is upwardly directed are adhered to the periphery of a wood block in which the cut end face is upwardly directed without gaps and integrated by pressing and fastening the whole from the surrounding and sliced in a horizontal direction to obtain the sliced veneer whose cut end face is exposed on the surface. Further the sliced veneer manufactured by the manufacturing method is disclosed.
