To provide a manufacturing method of a solar cell back surface sealing material, capable of maintaining adhesive property between a fluorine resin film and a hydrolysis resistant film even when used under a severe outdoor environment for a long term.
The manufacturing method of a solar cell back surface sealing material comprises the processes of: providing at least one face of a film composed of a specific fluorine-containing resin with an atmospheric pressure plasma treatment to increase surface free energy to 42 dyn/cm or over and generates a functional group which contributes to improving adhesive strength; laminating a base film having effectively hydrolysis resistance via an adhesive layer on the surface side on which the atmospheric pressure plasma surface treatment has been performed, as a laminate; and performing the heat treatment of the laminate at a temperature of 40 to 80°C for 20 to 120 hours.
