Abstract:
To provide: a manufacturing method of a steel sheet pile which can reduce bending and residual stress; and the steel sheet pile.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a steel sheet pile comprises: performing hot rolling on a rolling objective material to form it into a shape of a steel sheet pile including at least a web part, a flange part and a joint part; and then cutting the formed steel sheet pile in a width direction. The method further comprises: estimating, in advance, a transformation start temperature or a transformation termination temperature; and performing rolling on adjacent portions that have thicknesses different from one another, at respective temperature ranges across the transformation start temperature or the transformation termination temperature of rolling temperatures in a hot rolling last pass. The steel sheet pile has at least the flange part and the joint part at both sides in the width direction of the web part in which difference between residual stress of one flange part and residual stress of the other flange part, and difference between residual stress in one side of the web part and residual stress in the other side of the web part are respectively 40 MPa or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
