Abstract:
To provide a technology which relates to a manufacturing method of a tank unit, in which multiple high pressure tanks are connected, and enables efficient manufacturing of the tank unit.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method disclosed by the specification includes: an inspection step in which a pressure test is conducted to each of multiple high pressure tanks prior to connecting the high pressure tanks; and a connection step in which a gas passage is connected to the high pressure tanks which have passed the pressure test. The gas passage is narrower than a pipe of a water injection device for injecting a liquid into the high pressure tanks. Thus, if water is injected into the high pressure tanks and the pressure test is conducted after the gas passage is attached to the high pressure tanks, a loss in the gas passage is large and it takes a long time to conduct the pressure test. Conducting the pressure test of the high pressure tanks before assembly of the gas passage enables efficient manufacturing of a tank unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
