PURPOSE: To obtain a wall lining material haveing a foamed layer of which three- dimensional patterns are not destroyed and adherred by a transparent film on the surface thereof by effecting foaming process after the transparent film is adherred on a foaming layer containing foaming agents painted on a basic material.

CONSTITUTION: A wall lining material is consisting of a base layer 4 of vinyl chrolide adherred on a surface of a basic material 5 made of paper, cloth, non- woven cloth or the like, a pattern layer 3 with predetermined patterns adherred thereon and a transparent film 2 adherred thereon so as to wrap the pattern layer 3 and the base layer 4. The pattern layer 3 and the base layer 4 contain foaming agents, and these layers 3, 4 are foamed after the transparent film 2 is pressed or adherred thereon. Thus, the film 2 is adherred closely and integrally thereto simultaneously with the foaming, and thereby, the wall lining material may be obtained without damaging the patterns made by foaming.
