This map information providing system is provided with an input picture display request accepting means for transferring a URL to a customize candidate terminal; a URL generating means for accepting input information or the like, and for converting it by a predetermined method, and for generating a new URL to which the information is added, and for transferring it to a customize candidate terminal; a map information display request accepting means for accepting a map information display request from the user terminal; a parameter converting means for converting the value by a predetermined method based on a parameter included in the new URL and the value; a map information retrieving means for retrieving the map information corresponding to the position information; and a map information transmitting means for displaying the retrieved map information and the converted information, and for transmitting it to the user terminal.
