Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct marine base regardless of depth by joining the upper surface of a lower structure to the lower surface of an upper structure where plant equipment is installed on the upper surface, and constructing the upper structure and the lower structure in such a manner as to have positive buoyancy when water is discharged from the interior, and have negative buoyancy when water is poured into the interior.
SOLUTION: Water is discharged from the interior of a lower structure 20 to be floated on the sea, and the structure is drawn out by a towing boat and positioned on the sea surface 2 of a construction cite, and then water is poured in the internal space to seat the structure on the bottom 1 of the sea. Secondly water is discharged from the interior of an upper structure 10 where plant equipment 30 such as a liquefied gas storage tank 31, a process equipment 32 are installed on the upper surface thereof to be floated, and positioned on the surface of the sea above the lower structure 20, and then water is poured in the interior to obtain negative buoyancy to install the structure 10 on the upper surface of the lower structure 20. The lower surface of the upper structure 10 and the upper surface of the lower structure 20 are joined to each other. The overall height of the marine base can be increased so that it is possible to construct the marine base which is hardly influenced by ocean waves in the sea with a great depth of water.
