Abstract:
To provide a marine double inversion propeller device capable of stopping a seal drain recovery path at an optimum position and a vessel provided with the same.SOLUTION: A marine double inversion propeller device 100 comprises: an outer shaft 12; an inner shaft 14; and a driver 30. The outer shaft has a front propeller 1 fitted to the rear part, and is rotatably supported by a stern tube bearing 16. The inner shaft has a rear propeller 2 fitted to the rear end, and is rotatably supported by double inversion bearings 5 and 7. A stern side stern tube seal 40 is provided on the sea side of the stern tube bearing 16 to seal a part therebetween. A stern side double inversion seal 50 is provided on the sea side of the double inversion bearing 7 to seal a part therebetween. A seal drain recovery unit 60 supplies seal air A to the stern side stern tube seal or the stern side double inversion seal, and recovers drains D1 and D2 together with the seal air. This device further comprises a rotation position sensor 70 that detects the rotation position of the outer shaft or the inner shaft, and a rotation controller 80 that stops a driver in response to a detection signal of the rotation position sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
