PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain extended weather forecasting data from weather forecasting data for ten days and the past weather data and to efficiently provide ship users with highly accurate weather forecasting data in eleven to fourteen days future.SOLUTION: Forecasting definition means performs high definition so that resolutions of the whole of weather forecasting data 1 for ten days become the same on the basis of the seabed profile and the coast line data. Forecasting extension means 3 carries weather data for the past ten years as a database. The weather forecasting data 1 is compared with the database using a pattern recognition process, and an extension portion data of eleven to fourteen days future is obtained from the weather data for four days previous of the maximum similarity. The extension weather forecasting data 30 for fourteen days is compressed by forecasting data compression means 4, and compressed forecasting data 40 is accumulated by forecasting data accumulation providing means 5, and is transmitted to a ship via a satellite communication 7 of the Internet 6. The compressed forecasting data 40 is received by a transmission and reception device 8 of the ship, and the compressed forecasting data 40 is thawed and elongated by a terminal device 9 so as to be displayed as a sea weather forecasting map 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
