To improve the propulsion force of a propeller by easing a negative pressure state that is caused at the rear of the propeller for the suppression of the occurrence of cavitation without increasing the cost of facilities.
A marine vessel includes: first and second propellers 2, 3 for propulsion positioned below water surface W; an engine 8, a drive source of each of the propellers 2, 3; and a gas exhaust passage 9 provided to discharge an exhaust gas from the engine 8 into the atmosphere. A gas introduction passage 12 is provided to introduce from the gas exhaust passage 9 the exhaust gas from the engine 8. At a rear position of the first propeller 2, exhaust openings 18 are formed which communicate with the gas introduction passage 12 to send the exhaust gas toward the region behind the first propeller 2.
