Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine vessel that has a stern duct arranged right before a propeller and that can increase thrust generation parts of the stern duct capable of generating a thrust making good use of a marine vehicle body wake flow more than stern ducts in an arcuate shape, and make the thrust by the duct larger.SOLUTION: A marine vessel having a stern duct 10A, constituted having a duct member 11 and a duct support member 12 supporting the duct member 11 on a marine vessel body, arranged right before a propeller is so constituted that a shape of a tail edge of the duct member 11 above the center C of a propeller rotary shaft viewed from a bow-stern direction is a shape including a part of an elliptic shape having a minor axis in a vessel width direction and a major axis in a water depth direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
