To provide a mark transferring technique utilizing a paint film transfer technique for various kinds of marks including letters, signals, figures or combinations of those matters.
A mark transferring tape T is made up with transferable marks M having pressure-sensitive adhesiveness arranged continuously at specified intervals and held separably at the surface of a base tape 15, and each of the transferable marks M comprises various kinds of indicating marks Ma and a blank space Mb for a superscription. While bodily-sensitive indents 60 indicating a position for dividing the transferable marks M are arranged between each of adjoining transferable marks M, positioning protuberances 61 available for being engaged with the bodily-sensitive indents 60 are provided at a transferring head H. The transferable mark M on the mark transferring tape T can be precisely transferred onto a part whereon the transfer is to be made with the state of hitching in travelling of the mark transferring tape T arising from the engagement of the indents 60 and the protuberances 61 set as a criterion for transfer.
