Since there are ribs 15 and 16 for hooking fingers on a ball surface, the marker ball 10 for crime prevention is easy to throw, and the hit ratio of throwing is improved. Since there are no gluing processes of gluing a component of the ball body 11 during manufacture of the ball body 11, in a normal time, leakage of the marker agent 12 from the ball body 11 can be positively prevented. Since there are thin parts 15a and 16a with edges E on outer rims of the ribs 15 and 16, impact force of the ball 10 hitting a criminal after throwing concentrates on the edges E, and the ball body 11 can be positively broken from the thin part 16a.
