PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a viewer surely obtain a desired program and make a broadcast company effectively obtain information relating to the attribute of viewers by interposing an agent between the company and the viewers.
SOLUTION: The marketing support system 100 is a system for collecting information of viewers by retrieving program information in detail and, selling a program wanted to view by the piece and purchasing the program. The system is provided with a viewer system 101 viewing a program (e.g. general family), an agent system 301 connected with the system 101 via a suitable communication network 201, and a broadcast company system 401 which provides a program to viewers. The agent system 301 is provided with a principal identification and program purchase confirmation system 302, a data working system 303, a storage device 304 containing various kinds of data base, a program transfer system 306 and an interface 305.
