Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking apparatus having no restriction in a marking possible range with respect to a cylindrical or columnar article to be processed. SOLUTION: At the time of marking, a horizontal moving quantity in an X-axis direction is calculated as is conventional by an operator 10. When an X-axis motor 5 is rotated on the basis of the calculated command value through an X-axis amplifier 8, an air cylinder 3 and a vibration pen l are moved on an X-axis ball screw 4. A cylindrical or columnar article 2 to be processed is fixed to a Y-axis motor 7 by a connection rod 15 and a holder 16. The operator 10 sets a value obtained by dividing a moving distance in a Y-axis direction by the radius of a circle of a cylindrical cross section as the angle of rotation of the Y-axis motor 7 to apply a command value to a Y-axis amplifier 9. When the Y-axis motor 7 is rotated, the fixed article 2 to be processed is also rotated. The vibration pen 1 is vertically held with respect to the article 2 to be processed and there is no restriction in a marking possible range.
