To provide a rod-shaped massage device which is simply manufactured at low costs and differentiates massage effects.

The massage device 1 is provided with: an end part element 2 which has a virtually cylindrical shape; an integument 3 made of rubber elastic material which forms an outer surface of the end part element 2; and a drive part 4 for generating a movement to the end part element 2. The drive part 4 forms a plurality of bearings for bearing the integument 3 and support surfaces 5, 2 and the bearings and the support surface 5, 2 are designed for vibration deformation of the integument 3 with respect to an axis LA in the longitudinal direction of the end part element 2 which occurs outside and inside in the radiation shape by stroke movements in the radiation direction of the bearings and the support surface 5, 2. The massage device 1 is provided with first and second action modes. In the first action mode, vibration deformation along the axis LA in the longitudinal direction has a same phase and in the second action mode, no same phase.
