Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability and reliability of a massager by avoiding deformation of elastic protrusions even if an excessive force is applied to a massaging element during massaging.
SOLUTION: A pair of massaging rollers 16 which are mounted to a driveshaft 9 rotated by a motor are each comprised of a massaging base 17 which rotates integrally with the driveshaft, and an idling part 19 rotatably attached to the outer periphery of the massaging base. The idling part is fitted with a massaging element 22 having elastic protrusions 44 and 45 of different sizes which protrude inwards. An elastic body 50 being lower in hardness than the massaging element is packed in each of the elastic protrusions.
