Abstract:
A remote control apparatus (200) disclosed herein is a master operation input device for operating a slave manipulator (300) having a surgical instrument as an end effector. The master operation input device includes: a master operation main body (210) arranged at a distal end of the master operation input device as viewed from a fixed end of the master operation input device; a first operating portion (220) and a second operating portion (230) which are supported on the master operation main body so as to be capable of pivoting with respect to the master operation main body to enable opening and closing operations; and a grip (240) configured to be attachable and detachable to and from a distal end of the master operation main body.
