Abstract:
To provide a master roll which is used on a stencil printer 1, and which can surely remove contamination without damaging a thermal head in cleaning time.SOLUTION: A master roll 100 comprises: a master 101 having a porous support body and a heat sensitive film; a cylinder body 102 having an opening 104 and to which the master is wound; and a cleaning sheet part 110 coupled to a base end of the master and stored in a hollow part 103 to pass the opening. When the master is consumed and the base end part 106 is exposed, a device becomes in a cleaning mode, and the cleaning sheet part provided on the base end of the master is drawn from the opened opening, and is supplied to a space between the thermal head 21 and the platen roller 24. A detergent included in the cleaning sheet part leaks by heating and compression, and at least the thermal head is cleaned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
