PURPOSE: To form a master sheet for heat copy capable of presenting a high-speed copying operation and easy to handle by adopting such a construction that, in the surface of opaque base sheet of thermal conductivity, heat absorption image is installed and also in the back side of a coating layer consisting in the thermal transfer dye stuff and bonding agent is installed.
CONSTITUTION: In the surface of a thermally conductive opaque elongated base sheet such as paper sheet material of weight of 10W80g/m2, heat absorption image using chinese charecters printer, copy machine and so on, is formed and in its back side, in the corresponding part of the heat absorption image to be copied, compound consisting in the heat transher dye stuff (it is preferrable to show the transher property in the molecular weight of about 200W500, temperature of 120W250°C) and bonding agent (ethylcellulose, polyvinyl alcohol and so on) are coated to form a master sheet. In the back side of the master sheet, a sheet to be copied (preferrably that is what dye stuff accepting agent is coated) is laminated and heat from the surface side is charged. By doing so, the dye stuff corresponding to the heat absorption image is transferred to the sheet for copying in the image shape.
