Abstract:
To provide a masterbatch having excellent film-forming properties without causing color shading and unevenness of thickness, a resin composition comprising the masterbatch and a resin-coated metal plate having the resin composition as a resin coating.
This masterbatch comprises a thermoplastic polyester resin and titanium oxide and is used for coloring a thermoplastic polyester having ≥0.6 intrinsic viscosity. The melt viscosity ratio R defined by formula (1) : R=η2/η1 (wherein, η1 and η2 are each the melt viscosity of the thermoplastic polyester resin to be colored and the masterbatch at a temperature within the range of 250-300°C at ≥60 s-1 shear rate) is ≥0.4 and ≤1.0.
