Abstract:
To provide a masterbatch for foam molding capable of obtaining a foam molding which can be suitably used not only in molding to which a strong shear force is applied but also in molding requiring low molding temperature, has a high foam ratio, prevents cohesion of thermally expandable microcapsules and enables uniform dispersion, has good appearance quality and has less foreign matter, and a foam molded body using the masterbatch for foam molding.SOLUTION: A masterbatch for foam molding contains a base resin and a thermally expandable microcapsule, in which the masterbatch for foam molding has such a columnar shape that an outer diameter is 2-4 mm, a length is 2 mm or less and an aspect ratio (outer diameter/length) is 1.1 to 2.7, the base resin contains an acrylic resin or a polyethylene resin, and a content of the thermally expandable microcapsule is 25-60 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
