This cleaning machine cleans a mat M by pressure waves generated by the rotation of a runner 3 while conveying the at M along the outer peripheral surface of a casing 5. A large number of angular protruding parts 6 are provided on the surface of the runner 3 at spaces in a circumferential direction or the like, and the slant face of the protruding part 6 is formed in a curved face swollen onto the rotation axis side or a bent-flat or flat face. As the protruding parts 6, a plurality of support plates 25 projected radially outward are erected on the surface of a drum body 24 of the runner 3 at circumferentially equal spaces, and protruding part slant face forming plates 26 with circular arc faces swollen onto the rotation axis side are provided between the adjacent support plates 25. The tip part of the support plate 25 is made the top part of each protruding part 6.
