Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pan from being stained and to improve the taste of grilled fish by forming a mat with metal fibers.
SOLUTION: A mat C arranged above the pan of a heating apparatus is formed with metal fibers. Any metal may be used as the material of the metal fibers forming the mat C, e.g. stainless steel, copper or aluminum, and aluminum is preferable in particular. Aluminum fibers are laminated in the entangled state, and they are pressed from above and below to form a felt-like flat plate. Portions at prescribed positions of the flat plate made of an aluminum fiber laminated material are crushed to form thin sections having small gaps between the metal fibers (high-density sections having small gaps between the metal fibers). The peripheral sections of a mat A (regions of 5-10 mm from the end section) are particularly crushed as the thin sections (high-density sections). Uncrushed portions are thick sections having large gaps between the metal fibers (low-density sections having large gaps between the metal fibers), and the circular thick sections (low-density sections) are regularly repeated in this pattern.
