A matching apparatus for receiving a signal with first and second frequency bands is provided with: a first inductor 42 to which a high frequency input terminal 21 is connected; and a matching unit 44 for receiving the signal supplied to the first inductor 42, the matching unit 44 includes: an input terminal 61; an output terminal 62 connected to the input terminal 61 via a first capacitor 63 connected to the input terminal 61; a first connecting point provided between the first capacitor 63 and the input terminal 61; and second inductors 65, 66 inserted between the first connecting point and the ground, and the second inductors indicate capacitance properties in the first frequency band and inductance properties in the second frequency band. Since a short antenna 1 can be used for a television broadcast signal with a long wavelength, the mobile receiver with excellent portability can be obtained.
