To provide a matching system for selecting image data for matching including an optimum ground reference point when performing geometric correction processing to satellite image data.
The system comprises a preprocessing means for reading the satellite image data and band information; a data storage means for storing the image data for matching at each band for the ground reference and the band information of the image data for matching; a selecting means of the image data for matching which compares the band information read through the preprocessing means with the band information of the image data for matching and selects the image data for matching of which the band information is matched or similar to each other; and a matching means for matching the selected image data for matching with the satellite image data.
