Abstract:
To provide a material charge device capable of preventing noises upon material charge and the contamination of a working environment by a simple constitution, an electric furnace device using the same and a material charge method.SOLUTION: A material charge device for charging materials to a furnace body comprises: a material charge container having an opening/closing mechanism at the bottom and capable of storing the materials; and transportation means for transporting the material charge container to the charge port of the furnace body in a state of being gripped. The transportation means is provided with a cover part capable of covering a crown facing the bottom of the material charge container upon charging the materials into the furnace body.
