To provide a material for cleaning a contaminant such as toxic and harmful component-containing soil with easy handling capable of easily carrying out a cleaning treatment by carrying out the optimum mixing corresponding to a property and a component of the contaminant at a job site and mixing it without carrying out a chemical reaction and a biological treatment and keeping facility cost and a running cost low.
The cleaning material is formed by formulating a natural or processing-treated porous material to a basic cleaning material comprising rice hulls charcoal and rice hulls vinegar liquid or poultry manure. The cleaning material is formed by further formulating a chemical substance having a reduction, anti-bacteria or deodorizing effect to the above constitution. The contaminant is cleaned by adding, mixing or contacting this cleaning material with the contaminant such as the toxic and harmful component-containing soil.
