Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material delivery mechanism that causes no deformation of a pressure-sensitive adhesive part of a weight material and no reduction in the adhesive strength in a balance weight manufacturing device wherein only the preparation of the weight material in the form of a long band forming balance weights is enough for a balance weight of a given length to be cut out for use as the need arises.
SOLUTION: The balance weight manufacturing device comprises a loading part loaded with a weight material so constructed that a body shaped into a long platelike band with a constant weight per unit length to form balance weights when cut into given lengths carries a pressure-sensitive adhesive applied over the reverse and protected by released paper, the material delivery mechanism for delivering out the weight material loaded into the loading part, and a cutting means for cutting the weight material delivered out by the material delivery mechanism. The material delivery mechanism comprises a delivery toothed wheel with acute biting teeth projecting in a gear fashion so as to bite into the released paper and pressure-sensitive adhesive of the weight material.
