A material drying device 10 works as a device for drying granular materials 12. The material drying device 10 includes an openable/closable outlet portion 26 provided on the bottom, a tank 20 that accommodates a plurality of granular materials 12, and an exhaust nozzle 46 disposed within the tank 20, and further includes a drying mechanism portion 40 that blows out dry wind toward the outlet portion 26 side from the exhaust nozzle 46 and a temperature adjustment control portion 60 that controls the drying mechanism portion 40 to perform main drying processing for blowing out the dry wind with a temperature higher than that in pre-drying processing from the exhaust nozzle 46 after pre-drying processing for blowing out the dry wind from the exhaust nozzle 46.
